Texture Artist

You Are

Educated: you honed your artistic skills as you earned a BFA or received equivalent on-the job experience.

A fine artist 3.0: your creative toolbox is updated for the metaverse enabling you to leap from an advanced Substance or Mari session to 3D programs including Unreal, Zbrush, and Maya.

A technician: you understand PBR pipelines making metalness or specular workflows a simple task.

A hands-on creative: you craft assets inside of DCCs and Unreal equally. With your meticulousness, you effortlessly transfer essential characteristics from DCC surfaces to optimized Unreal material instructions. Your strong hand painted and procedural texturing skills bring surfaces to life.

A passionate cinephile: given you regularly stay up ʻtill dawn watching your favorite films youʼre able to understand the audience, so your creations connect with and impact them.

A virtual production enthusiast: you enjoy experimenting with new immersive technology for film and ICVFX regardless of how
challenging the field is.

A humble teammate: you understand that constructive criticism helps you grow, so you seek it and give it; while you're a self-starter, you're eager to collaborate because you know results are better with team and cross-team communication and feedback.
